Built for the People Making AI Decisions in the Enterprise: A Letter From The Editor-In-Chief

May 31, 2026

We lead with news, data, and what it means for the enterprise. We're opinionated when the numbers back it up. And we'll tell you when a launch everyone's celebrating doesn't actually matter for your stack.

A little over two months ago I launched State of Brand. It started as an experiment. It's now one of the fastest-growing publications in B2B marketing.

Today I'm doing it again.

Introducing State of AIwww.thestateofai.com.

Here's the problem I keep seeing. Every executive I talk to is making AI decisions right now: procurement, headcount, infrastructure, build vs. buy. And the information they're working with is terrible. It's either hype cycles disguised as analysis or technical deep dives written for researchers, not operators.

There's no publication that answers the only question that actually matters: what does this mean for the decision I have to make and the future of where we're investing?

That's what State of AI covers.

Not what launched. What it means for the enterprise. Not what's possible. What's ready. Not what's exciting. What changes your roadmap.

We lead with news, data, and what it means for the enterprise. We're opinionated when the numbers back it up. And we'll tell you when a launch everyone's celebrating doesn't actually matter for your stack. No hype. No fanboy coverage. No "this changes everything" unless it actually does.

Building State of Brand taught me that the best publications don't compete for attention. They become the thing people send to their team before a meeting. That's now the bar for every piece we publish.

I'm leading this as Editor-in-Chief with a newsroom that's already proven it can ship daily at State of Brand. This is a real newsroom, publishing every day.

Come be early again.
